The Great South West Walk is designed to either walk a section or enjoy the whole adventure. View the natural beauty our region has to offer with it's numerous wild flowers and abumndance of wildlife. Surfing in our region offers the tourist numerous options depending on the wind and the swell. Why not try our beach, Yellow Rock or Bridgewater Bay.

The fishing in Portland
is one of the highlights. Our Holiday Park offers the opportunity to try you luck in the surf for Mulloway, Salmon or Snapper. Whatever the wind conditions are there is always a place to fish for a Bream or a Salmon in the Surrey River that winds around our Holiday Park. There is also a boat ramp to the river at our entrance. If the bay or ocean is your choice there is full facilities to launch you boat at Portland. We sell bait and can offer you some local knowledge if you require it.

Fossilized Sharks Teeth -
Come and find fossilised Great White Sharks teeth on our beach.
One of the few places in the world where you can these rare teeth up to 60 million years old.

Portland Powerhouse Car Museum has it's unique collection of lovingly restored veteran, vintage and classic cars, motorcycles, tractors, trams, and stationary engines.

Maritime Museum with it's Sperm Whale Skeleton, Southern Right Whale, Portland Lifeboat, Shark Showcase, Shipwreck showcases among many other exibits.

Portland Cable Tram. You can travel along Portlands historic foreshore and visit the Maritime Museum, Portland Powerhouse Car Museum, The Botanic Gardens and Portland's World War 2 Memorial Lookout using the Cable tram.
